He has been the director of the Museum of Osteopathic Medicine since January 2001 and makes multiple international trips each year (Belgium, Russia, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Brazil and the UK) to provide lectures, historic research materials and promote the principles of early medicine. He has studied American antiques and ancient artifacts for the past 33 years, collected and researched Mayan pottery for his thesis in the humanities, and has lectured on art history, the paranormal and ancient art for 11 years at a mid-size liberal arts university. He currently is working on his Doctorate in Education.

Live from the 2019 Dead of Winter Festival, Troy and Cody (with the always-needed assistance of Lisa) will be doing a special podcast episode with a winter theme. Afterwards, we'll be opening the episode up to attendees to ask questions, tell stories, and take part in the show. If you aren’t familiar with the podcast, check it out here, and get ready for another special episode from this year’s festival!

Growing up in North St. Louis, Lacey has been exploring forgotten and haunted locations since childhood. A 7th generation St. Louisan, Lacey's family roots run deep. She is passionate about historical preservation, as well as finding the facts behind urban legends. A self-described "Marilyn Munster," Lacey attributes her passion for dark St. Louis history and her interest in the paranormal to her father, a collector of strange and unusual books and antiques. Lacey, along with her business partner Tim, operate Haunted STL Tours, a haunted history tour company and "Boo-tique" in downtown St. Louis.
ADAM AND SARAH HYATT:
Adam and Sarah Hyatt are board members of the Granger House Victorian Museum, located in Marion, Iowa, which was built in 1848. After it was completed, Earl and Dora Granger moved into the house and the family resided there for over a century. After the last Granger moved out, it was donated to the city and turned into a museum. Today, the house continues the Granger family legacy, filled with family artifacts, relics of the period — and a ghost or two.
Adam and Sarah Hyatt are not only board members of this amazing house, but they also host haunted history events that brings in hundreds of people each year. Adam leads the flashlight ghost tours of the old mansion, while Sarah holds monthly paranormal meetings and works to promote the history that still lives within the walls. You can find out more about the Granger House for your own special events and hear the chilling tales of the place at this year’s festival!
